The program of the event includes lectures with a focus on complex in vitro methods and computational modelling used in biomedical research and regulatory applications, round tables for discussion, and a debate session.

Target audience: Master's, phD students or early-career scientists with a strong interest in non-animal approaches working in relevant fields of research and application.

This International Congress Biopharm Nonclinical Development, BioNCiD 2025, aims to bring together experts, academics and industry professionals to discuss the latest advances in research for the nonclinical development of innovative biopharmaceuticals, promoting compliance with the 3Rs and the culture of care.

The call for abstracts for the 2025 MPS World Summit is now open. Abstracts should focus on: MPS Development and Results Processing, MPS for Biomedical Research and Disease Modelling, MPS for Efficacy, ADME, and Toxicity Testing and MPS for Industrial and Regulatory Testing.  By submitting an abstract for a poster presentation, you can compete for the RE-Place Best Poster Award (250€), which will reward a phD student or young scientist working on the development or use of a replacement method. Deadline for abstract submission: 15/01/2025.

The course will consist of lectures and practical sessions. The experimental session will provide an example what is an acute ecotoxicological test using a model organism, Daphnia magna, while the lectures will provide a broad overview of different aspects of ecotoxicology, including environmental chemistry, toxicology, risk assessment related topics and about the next steps in ecotoxicology.

The 2025 Training School marks the 18th collaborative iteration of the program focused on Experimental Design and Statistical Analysis of Biomedical and Bioscience Experiments. This course is specifically designed for researchers at the postgraduate level and beyond.

Please note that as a registered participant, you are expected to attend for the full course duration to be eligible to take the examination to gain FELASA accreditation.
