This workshop will include lectures, hands-on cell culture training by experts at the hub and practical demos of organoid assays and functional readouts.

Applicants from across the world are welcome to apply and ppen to graduate students, postdocs and research specialists. Particular emphasis will be placed on recruiting individuals with minimal existing 3D brain organoid culture experience.

MRC and NC3Rs, in partnership with BBSRC and EPSRC, are collaborating to fund a consortium for Novel Human In Vitro Models of Complex Disease. In this webinar, Drs Rachel Eyre (NC3Rs) and Holger Apitz (MRC) will give a presentation describing the aims and remit, eligibility and timelines of the funding opportunity.

In this webinar, Marc Audebert will present the gammaH2AX/pH3 method for determining genotoxicity MoA. This innovative approach aims to improve in vitro genotoxicity testing and cancer hazard assessment. By quantifying histone phosphorylation markers, we can gain valuable insights into the mode of action of genotoxic substances.

During this webinar, VPHi Best Thesis Award winner Sara Bridio from Politecnico di Milano will present her work on "In silico high-fidelity and surrogate models of the thrombectomy procedure" under the moderation of the students of the VPHi Young Scientists Committee.

During this webinar, we will welcome Alexandra Gatzios (VUB) who will present her work on the development of a stem cell-based in vitro model to investigate genetic predisposition for anti-MASH drug response. Then, Anouck Thienpont (VUB & Sciensano) will explain her work on the optimization of the GENOMARK biomarker for genotoxicity. Participation to the webinar is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Certificates of attendance will be available upon request.

This course willl consist of amorning session with three lectures as well as a hands-on presential training in the afternoon. The speakers of the morning session will speak about Basic concepts in PBPK modelling, Regulatory aspects of PBPK modelling and Industry perspective of PBPK modelling. In the afternoon session, the hand-on training will focus on the use of the publicly available tool PK-SYM.

The ASCCT meeting is shaped by attendees submitting proposals to share their science.
