During this webinar, we will welcome Alexandra Gatzios (VUB) who will present her work on the development of a stem cell-based in vitro model to investigate genetic predisposition for anti-MASH drug response. Then, Anouck Thienpont (VUB & Sciensano) will explain her work on the optimization of the GENOMARK biomarker for genotoxicity. This course willl consist of amorning session with three lectures as well as a hands-on presential training in the afternoon. The speakers of the morning session will speak about Basic concepts in PBPK modelling, Regulatory aspects of PBPK modelling and Industry perspective of PBPK modelling. In the afternoon session, the hand-on training will focus on the use of the publicly available tool PK-SYM.

This two-day workshop aims to provide scientists with best practices and standards for rigor in the field of computational drug discovery to enable accurate and reproducible results. This workshop will also cover case studies for AI-driven drug discovery campaigns as well as an overview of new trends and gaps in the field.

This symposium will feature two workshops and more then 10 talks by top experts in the field. Recordings of the talks will be provided for all the registered participants who are unable to attend the event on-site.
Participants are welcome to present their work through posters and oral presentations. In order to do so, please submit your abstract here by 30 September!
